I started seeing Dr. Matt regularly after having a negative experience with a cortisone shot for a pinched nerve in my foot. Together we were able to locate the exact source of my referred pain after a single session. After several sessions of adjustments, muscle work, and dry needling, I felt tremendous relief in my back (the major pain source) and long after the cortisone shot had worn off I was left pain free! Without Catalyst I would most likely still be experiencing constant nerve pain and may have even had to consider surgery. I've been pain free for almost 2 years!

Struck gold in my Google search for a chiropractor with Catalyst! Had finally decided to see one for the first time ever in my 30s, with scoliosis that caused me to wear a back brace as a teenager. Dr Matt has gotten my back feeling much better overall and has tried quite a few treatment types (scraping, cupping, dry needling) to get to where it’s at now. Used to get random painful arm tingling in my sleep that would wake me up but haven’t noticed this since starting to regularly get dry needled and adjusted. Can’t believe I waited as long as I did to try a chiropractor and so glad I found Catalyst!

I had very painful and tiring TMJ for 4-5 years. It completely controlled my life and I was in serious pain and discomfort every single day. I’ve tried many things over the years to help it (massages, pain meds, muscle relaxers, soft food diet, stretches, dentists, specialists, heat / cold therapy, and even another chiropractor.) Nothing has worked at all until seeing Dr. Matt. After just a few sessions of dry needling / adjustments, my pain is significantly better.. almost fully gone. I don’t remember the last time I was pain free for multiple days in a row. Dr. Matt listens, cares, and truly wants to help you. He is excellent at what he does and I am extremely thankful for his work changing my life and helping me live pain free. I just wish I had gone to him sooner!

Focused attention on problems/issues, with well-informed discussion not just of how to treat in the office but also recommendations on rehab/strength exercised for home. This is not a factory for "quick cracks" that I've experienced at many other chiro offices where they just try to cycle thru as many patients as possible, but intentional engagement from Dr. Matt geared towards actually making my life better.

Catalyst Chiropractic is fantastic. I have had recurring herniated disc/muscle spasm issues for years and went to see Dr. Matt. He evaluated my issues and we discussed a variety of treatment options, ultimately landing on dry needling and other myofascial treatment. As Matt describes it, his practice lands squarely inside the "triangle" of chiropractic care, physical therapy, and massage therapy - and I found this to be exactly what I needed to address my recurring back problems. I strongly recommend seeing Matt or Lauren.

Catalyst is by far the best chiropractor clinic in Charlotte. If you are experiencing pain, discomfort, or tension ANYWHERE in your body, there is a 99% chance that it’s something Catalyst can provide immediate and long term lasting relief for. I am a bodybuilder/triathlete and am always tweaking either my lower back, hips, shoulders, etc. I have been coming to Catalyst for 4 years now, and when I come see Matt we talk through my issue, he works through the problem, and within just a few days I am already feeling better. Matt has so much knowledge and expertise in the field and knows so much about how the body works; it’s actually fascinating. He is so versatile as well, that whether you have a unique sports injury, weightlifting injury, or just something from sitting at your desk odd, he can always get to the root problem and figure out the best solution! Highly recommend. 10/10, best chiro I’ve ever been to.

I have been going to Catalyst for almost two years now, but most recently I was seeing Matt for chiropractic work while I was pregnant. I went throughout my entire pregnancy and I cannot recommend it enough. Matt and Lauren both were very knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable. From adjustments, to dry needling, to cupping - I can't imagine how I would have felt if I did not go to them throughout pregnancy. Highly recommend in general but definitely during pregnancy!
