​Hi! I’m Dr. Brad Hargis, and I’m super excited to be part of the team here at Catalyst Chiropractic in Charlotte, NC. This city already feels like home, and I’m proud to serve our community alongside such an awesome crew.

For me, it’s all about patient empowerment. I don’t think health should revolve around medications or surgery, and honestly, I don’t even want you to rely on me forever. My goal is to put the power back in your hands and remind you just how strong and capable your body really is. You are built to move, recover, and do amazing things. You might just need a little help unlocking that potential.

Whether you are dealing with nagging pain, bouncing back from an injury, or just looking to feel and perform your best, I’m here to walk that path with you. I love breaking down what your body is telling you and giving you tools that help you not only get out of pain but also stay strong and confident moving forward.

Here at Catalyst, we are all about teamwork, compassion, and making sure every patient gets the care they deserve. Serving Charlotte with the best patient care is something we take seriously, but we also love making the process fun and encouraging. Working with Brad has been a blessing for my daughters knee. The horrible growing pains were too much for my daughter to deal with. Tried doing your normal PT recommended by the doctor for about a month with very little progress. Talked to Brad about the issue and got my daughter on a program to build the muscles around her knee and within a couple weeks the pain started going away. After 3 months of consistent working Brads program the pain has gone away completely. He is super easy to work with and will recommend him to anyone. Thanks Brad!

Dr. Brad knows his stuff and is super gentle and helpful. In just 2 visits 90% of the pain is gone and he gave me some stretches and exercises to do at home. No selling of big packages or needing to go for a ton of visits, he just treats you and makes you the best you can be. I will make it a point to continue seeing him in the future.

Dr. Brad is very knowledgeable with addressing your physical pain concerns. He takes a step by step approach to the physical therapy. He truly cares about your success and has a great targeted plan to achieve your goal of being pain free. I like his availability too.. if you have any questions he makes the time for you.

I have been working with Brad for about 6 weeks. I had initially seen a reel of his on Instagram concerning hip pain and reached out with questions. He was very responsive and helpful. At 52 years old, I was getting back into fitness after retiring from a desk job and somehow injured the very top of my left hip area which was causing pain with walking, stepping up, stepping down, and sitting. With Brad’s knowledge and coaching I am on my way to being pain-free in my hip. Brad is very easy to work with. He uses a progressing model that anyone can follow and achieve their goals. I can now walk, step up and down without grimacing in pain. I am continuing to work with Brad on hip conditioning and with achieving my fitness goals. I highly recommend him if you are in pain and/or looking to improve your fitness goals.

When I started working with Brad I was at the end of my rope with how I was feeling day to day. Like many of us I shifted to a wfh setup that had me sitting for hours on end. Over time, and age, my core and hip/ham/lower back muscles became weak. I was to the point where if my back seized up I was in excruciating pain and could barely walk, sleep, or rotate my body. It only got worse.. I found Brad and asked him for his opinion and if I could ever go back to the way I was. He guided me every step of the way with a program and eventually I built enough strength to finally be able to move without fear of injury. If you are fighting something similar I cannot recommend Brad enough. He’s really talented and very professional, don’t hesitate if you want to get your life back!

Started working with Dr. Hargis 3 months ago as I encountered my first incident with knee pain (after a run) I had not reached the midpoint of my long distance goal and was worried I would have to take a break to allow my knee to heal. Dr. Hargis helped me keep moving forward towards my goal, reducing pain, and building strength in core areas to help my runs. I have since increased my long distance goal marker and will continue to work with Dr. Hargis to achieve this milestone!!

Working with Dr. Hargis has been life-changing. I'm a former runner who's struggled with chronic knee problems for almost 20 years. After many failed past attempts at physical therapy, I found Dr. Hargis on Instagram. I liked that he's both focused on rehabilitating knee injuries AND a fitness coach. I had been considering hiring a personal trainer to help me set and achieve long-term nutrition and strength goals, so Dr. Hargisseemed like a perfect two-for-one. I've been working with Dr. Hargis for almost a year, and since then l've seen major improvements in my knee function - I can bend and squat more comfortably, and I can go up and down stairs faster and with less pain. He's also helped me establish a sustainable workout and nutrition routine that's helped me lose 10 pounds and build more muscle than I've had since my high school athletics program. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hargis. He's extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and empathetic - throughout my journey, he's encouraged me on my bad days and celebrated my wins with me.
